First Warning Forecast:
Tracking more storms and a relief from the heat…

It was miserably hot and muggy today. In fact, it was the hottest day of the year (so far), with the mercury climbing into the mid 90s in many spot.

Clouds will increase from the west overnight and we'll wake up to a mix of clouds and sunshine with morning lows in the lower 70s.

Our summer-like and unsettled stretch will continue for Friday and Saturday. Expect highs in the upper 80s with more humidity. We will see scattered showers and storms both days although our severe weather threat will be lower.

Sunday looks like the best pick of the weekend. We will see mostly sunny skies and highs will cool to the upper 70s to near 80 with lower humidity.

And the pleasant weather extends into Monday and Tuesday of next week. Rain chances increase toward the end of next week.
