KJ's First Warning Forecast

A few showers to jump start the weekend primarily in North Carolina! , with showers and possible storms building in during the afternoon as an area of low pressure moves back over the area. Temperatures will be a bit below normal with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s due to the cloud cover. It will feel a bit warmer though with the humidity. Saturday is actually the First Day of Summer and will also be the mildest day of the next 7.

Another chance for some afternoon storms on Father's Day. If you do have any outdoor plans, the morning hours are looking the driest. The day won't be a total washout though, just keep your umbrella handy and keep and eye on the sky! Temperatures will warm to the low 80s.

A summertime pattern will be the story starting on Monday. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to low 90s with afternoon showers and storms.
