KJ’s First Warning Forecast

A bright afternoon with fewer storms!

80s today with more sunshine and fewer chances for wet weather. Still, watch for a few pop-up showers and storms this afternoon. The focus is shifting to a quick warm up to start followed by afternoon and evening storm chances, which is a typical summer-like pattern.

Plan for low rain chances during the morning hours between now and Sunday with better chances during the afternoon. No severe weather is expected should any storm develops in our near future. Friday afternoon will likely showcase scattered showers and storms more so than today.

Meanwhile, low/mid 80s for Friday, Saturday and Sunday along with increasing humidity. 90s and noticeably hotter by Monday and Tuesday with heat index values closer to 100 degrees.

Today: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers. Highs in the low 80s. Winds: SE 5-10

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers. Lows in the upper 60s. Winds: S 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms. Highs in the low 80s. Winds: S 5-10
