A quick warm up is underway to kick off the long holiday weekend.

Highs will return to the low 80s today with partly sunny skies with light and variable winds mainly northwest direction. There's an slight chance for afternoon shower or storm. Increasing clouds tonight into Sunday as a cold front backs into the area. Expect more clouds to hover over the area, yet little to no chance of rain Sunday. Much cooler with breezy northeast winds Sunday. Highs will only reach the upper 60s.

Memorial Day is looking great weather wise for any gatherings outside. It'll start off cloudy before transitioning well into a sunny afternoon. A stray shower is possible.

Big changes ahead for next week, expect a warming trend as temperatures rise into the mid 80s by late with very low rain chances each day.
