Chief Meteorologist David Aldrich's First Warning Forecast

Expect overnight lows to drop into the 60s and 70s with more shower and storm potential.

Saturday will feature some showers and storms...a 70% chance...and particularly in the morning...as they rise from the Southwest and move to the Northeast. They will likely stick around a bit longer, however, across the Peninsula and the Eastern Shore.

By Sunday, the partly cloudy skies may produce a few more showers and storms...a 20% chance...mainly along the Outer Banks...based on a composite of today's data.

Next week, "Back to School" is cool...especially if you are returning to the classroom on Monday or Tuesday...since dew points will be dropping into the lower to mid 60s.

Looking ahead to next week, highs in the mid to upper 80s should be coming back by mid to late next week.
