First Warning Forecast:
Increasing clouds Friday, showers arrive this weekend...
The gorgeous weather will continue Friday with a gradual increases of clouds during the day. Even with the slow increase of clouds, we will stay dry. Highs will be a degree or two cooler Friday and in the low 70s.
We are keeping a close eye on Hurricane Delta. It is expected to make landfall near Louisiana Friday. The storm will weaken over land, but the moisture will spread across the southeast. Clouds will thicken during the day Saturday and we could see rain from the leftovers of this system beginning late Saturday night.
Sunday is likely to be the wettest part of the weekend as the remnants move in. The day does not look like a washout, but periods of rain will be possible off and on during the day.
While this would normally be a popular leaf-watching weekend in the mountains, the remnants of Delta will bring a good chance for rain both days this weekend.
