Frigid start, still cool and breezy this afternoon…
Get ready for a frigid start as you head out the door this morning. Actual temperatures are at or below freezing and wind chills are in the mid to upper 20s! Temperatures will "warm" to the low 50s today, which is only a few degrees higher than yesterday afternoon. It will still be breezy today with west winds at 10 to 15 mph. The best part of today will be the wall-to-wall sunshine thanks to high pressure building in across the mid-Atlantic.
Sunshine will continue for Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 50s and lighter winds. Clouds do increase late Thursday and into Friday as an area of low-pressure tracks towards our area. Highs Friday will be even warmer and in the low 60s. Showers should hold off during the daylight hours Friday but move in overnight.
Rain chances will be highest during the day on Saturday as the area of low pressure moves in overhead. With that said, it will be the warmest day of the week as highs will reach the mid 60s! Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 50s.
