Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey's First Warning Forecast:
Heating up and drying out as we head into the weekend...
Showers and storms will end overnight. We should wake up to plenty of sunshine - along with a little patchy fog - and morning lows in the upper 60s.
After the patchy fog early Friday, expect wall-to-wall sunshine with warmer highs in the upper 80s. It'll be a gorgeous day!
Temperatures will climb to the low 90s this weekend. Humidity will also increase, making it feel more like the mid to upper 90s each afternoon. We will see sunshine on Saturday, but a chance for scattered showers and storms by Sunday afternoon.
And the stormy weather continues into the next work week. A stubborn cold front will keep us on the unsettled side, with a chance for showers and storms just about every day.
