Clouds will stretch across the area this afternoon with little to no rain possible until Sunday morning. A small window for wintry mix near Interstate 95 before daybreak Sunday. Otherwise, scattered rain Sunday morning into the afternoon with another round of rain Monday.
Watching for wintry mix and even possible snow for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A strong cold front will swing through Thursday into Friday with widespread rainfall. We could see a change over to frozen precipitation early Friday morning (Christmas). Whether any snow will stick remains uncertain, but the event is worth watching over the next several days.
