Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Lower humidity to start the work week. Rain chances and humidity increase to end the week.

Back to school today and the weather looks good. Temperatures will start in the upper 60s to low 70s this morning with lower humidity. Highs will reach the upper 80s this afternoon, just a few degrees above normal for this time of year. We will see a nice mix of mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Most of the region will be dry but there is a risk for strong to severe storms in North Carolina, mainly south of the Albemarle Sound.
