Sweet relief from the extreme heat only a day away…
After dangerously hot of muggy weather on Thursday, sweet relief is on the way. Eventually.
Friday will still be hot and humid but not as extreme as Thursday. Highs will return to the low 90s with an afternoon heat index near 100. We will again see a mix of sun and clouds with another chance for scattered showers and storms as a cold front moves through during the evening.
The cold front will bring in cooler and less humid air just in time for the holiday weekend. Expect highs in the upper 70s on Saturday and the lower 80s on Sunday. We will see a nice mix of sun and clouds and low rain chances.
Labor Day will be just as lovely with only a slight chance of rain. Highs Labor Day will be in the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies.
