Meteorologist Maddie Kirker's First Warning Forecast:
Windy last day of Summer with one more round of Tidal Flooding this afternoon…

Building high pressure to our north along with the offshore passage of Hurricane Teddy will lead to one more day of strong NE winds. This will trigger another round of tidal flooding at high tide today, which will be around Noon. Winds will be between 15 and 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds today with only a slight chance of sprinkles and/or a light shower throughout the day. Highs will be about 10 degrees below normal, and in the upper 60s.

Winds will back down on Tuesday as we celebrate the first day of Fall. High pressure will continue to build across the region leading to dry conditions and wall-to-wall sunshine. Highs Tuesday will be near 70.

Expect more sunshine throughout the week with high temperatures warming to the 80s by Thursday. Strong high pressure will keep rain chances at or below 20 percent through the upcoming weekend.
