Laura is now a remnant low, a much weaker system overall after leaving a path of destruction across Louisiana.
The storm is now over the mid-Atlantic Saturday. It's expected to bring heavy rain, strong wind gusts and a tornado threat to parts of the region this afternoon.
It will then exit the region Saturday night.
