Beta weakens to post-tropical cyclone; poses heavy rainfall, flooding threat for parts of Texas

Remnants of Beta are moving toward the east-northeast near 9 mph and this general motion is expected to continue through Friday.

Max sustained winds are near 30 mph with higher gusts.

Despite being a weaker system, the remnants of Beta continue to be a huge rainmaker for areas in its near future.
