Crews are still working to clean up the site of the jet crash in Virginia Beach. They have worked day and night since the crash, sifting through the damage. Around 8 cats and 1 bird were reunited with their owners today.

Today, the state is helping people replace documents that were lost in the crash.

A representative from the Virginia Office of Vital Records will be at the Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. That's on Integrity Way.

They will help crash victims get new copies of birth certificates, marriage licenses, divorce certificates, and other important documents. The state is waiving the fees for replacement copies. They will also have information on how to contact other states for documents filed in those offices.

Also, locally-based Towne Bank is also taking action to help those affected by the crash.

The bank is offering interest free loans up to $5,000 per family for six months.

For more information on the loans, talk to the branch manager at the Towne Bank on 22nd Street in Virginia Beach.
