Five year anniversary of Virginia Tech Massacre

Today - Governor McDonnell will attend a candlelight vigil in memory of those killed in the Virginia Tech Massacre.

Today marks the five year anniversary of the shootings.

Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 people and wounded 25 others at Virginia Tech before killing himself.

Last week the governor issued a proclamation officially recognizing April 16 as Virginia Tech Remembrance Day.

There will be a statewide moment of silence this morning at 9:43 a.m. - the time of the classroom shooting.
