"It was the worst day of my life. I wish I would have died in the tornadoes," said Roger Hogge.
It may have already been a year since the tornado hit, but it's still too much for Hogge to handle.
He was with his fiance and son hiding in a bath tub when the tornado hit.
Now a year later, he still doesn't have a home. His belongings are still kept in his backyard, and he is still collecting his property in the woods next to his house.
One positive thing Hogge is thankful for is how the community of Gloucester came together.
As the rebuilding continues, Hogge is hopeful Mother Nature won't stop by for another visit.
"We are still scared to death. We are scared when we hear the word tornado. We are ready to crawl underneath a rock," said Hogge.
