Andrew Matisoo, Jr. copped a plea after police charged him with felony unlawful filming of a minor last summer.
Police say a shopper saw him putting his phone under a teen's skirt inside of a store at Lynnhaven Mall.
He won't get slammed with the felony, but he has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
At first, it was thought he would have some time to think about his sexual candid camera behind bars.
A circuit court judge sentenced him to a year in jail, but he won't have to serve any of that time if he completes the 18-month youth challenge program.
He also must have a parental escort at Lynnhaven Mall should he venture there again.
