Three rental homes caught fire in the Outer Banks.
Officials say the wind and dry conditions caused the fire to spread quickly.
It happened in Corolla. The fire started Saturday night at one of the rental homes on Cottage Cove Road.
Eighteen people were inside the home when the fire started. The fire then spread to two neighboring homes.
Officials say everyone made it out safely.
No word on what started the fire.
