Don’t let her age or size fool you, Lorraine Kreisler says she can handle just about anything thanks to years of dancing.

Last Friday, Kreisler survived an attack and robbery.

Kreisler says, “I didn't see him; he came out of nowhere and just ran up to me and punched me.”

She was walking into a Farm Fresh to use an ATM on Laskin Road near the Oceanfront before heading to a dance performance when a robber attacked her and snatched her wallet.

Though customers ran after him, he got away.

Kreisler and others got a good look at him and the clothes he was wearing.

Kreisler says  his outfit resembled those of a woman.

The robber didn’t get away with much; he only got her license, her medical card, and five dollars.

Kreisler adds, “You just can't get away with hitting people in a parking lot. If you wanted money that bad, you should have asked for it or go out and get a job and get your own money.”

Now, she’s hopeful the robber is caught, so he’ll learn a lesson about respecting his elders.

Kreisler says, “Don't pick on a woman you think is 70 years old and isn't going to fight back because that woman may be like me,  just as strong as me.”
