Police departments are taking action to help you get rid of prescriptions.
It’s part of the National Drug Take-Back Program.
Chesapeake police will be at several precincts collecting prescriptions.
In Hampton, officers will be at the Sentara Careplex Hospital from 10 to 2 Saturday afternoon.
And in Newport News, you can drop off medications at Sentara Port Warwick, the Farmer’s Market, and the north precinct from 10 to 2 on Saturday.
