There was a multi-million dollar drug bust off the coast of Panama.

Officials say the pink blocks seen in the photos are filled with cocaine.

The accused drug runners tossed nearly 4,000 pounds of cocaine overboard.

Coast Guard crews along with the Norfolk-based USS Elrod were right there to capture them and pull the drugs out of the water.

The bust is part of what's called Operation Martillo, or "hammer".

It's been underway since January.
