Posted

The cost of disability benefits for wounded veterans is at an all-time high.

The VA department expects to spend 57 billion dollars on disability benefits next year.

That's four times what was spent in 2000 before the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 600, 000 veterans have a service connected disability.
