A Suffolk teen is charged after a deadly crash.
It happened just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning on Cherry Grove Road North.
That’s near the Umphlett Airstrip.
Police say a 17-year-old driver ran off the road and hit a tree.
The driver and an 18-year-old passenger were pinned inside.
Both were taken to the hospital where the passenger died.
The driver is charged with DUI and reckless driving.
