If you're a Dominion Virginia Power customer, you will be shelling out more money to cool your home.
Effective immediately, the typical customer will see their monthly bill go up by 34 cents.
The money will be used to cover the cost of several new energy conservation programs including one that lowers the bills of customers who undergo home energy check-ups.
This is the third rate increase for Dominion customers in the last year.
