VDOT crews will be getting ready for the start of hurricane season next month by inspecting the hurricane gates on I-64 and I-664.
On Saturday, you’ll see them working on Interstate 64 from New Kent County all the way to the Military Highway exit in Chesapeake.
They will also be inspecting the gates on I-664 in Suffolk.
Traffic should not be affected.
