Three suspects allegedly carjack man with baby in back seat

Posted

A man says he is worried about his family’s safety after he was carjacked with his seven-month-old still in the back seat.

He doesn’t want to be identified because his attackers are still on the run.

He says, “They threatened to kill me and my son."

But he wants the public to be on the lookout for the three men who carjacked him while his seven-month-old son was in the car.

Investigators say around 2 a.m., the victim was waiting for his girlfriend in a club parking lot on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News when three men approached him. One had a gun.

Surveillance video shows the men getting into the car with the victim and his baby.

The victim says the men forced him to drive to his house. They wouldn’t let him stop even though his baby was crying in the back seat.

The victim says he drove the men to his neighborhood, but had second thoughts about taking them to his house until they threatened his son.

He says ,”The men were like don't turn around or I’ll  blow your head off – and I’ll  kill you and your baby.”

When they got to his apartment, the victim was pistol whipped, and kicked in the head several times.

They tied his hands and feet up.

The men took an X-Box, cash and clothes.

Before leaving, the men left the baby in the car seat on the sidewalk.

Now investigators are looking for the three suspects.
