There's a drug out there that could prevent HIV, but it’s up to the FDA to approve it.
Experts say the drug, Truvada, was approved back in 2004 to treat people with the disease, but trials also show the drug cut the risk of new infection by about 44 percent in healthy gay and bisexual men.
The risk was down by 73 percent for heterosexual couples with one partner who had HIV.
