An 89-year-old Chesapeake man charged with murder will stay in jail.
Today a judge denied bond for the accused killer.
Police say John Boyd shot 53-year-old Lionel Phillips to death on Tuesday night inside a home on Hines Avenue.
Phillips was the fiance of Boyd's caretaker.
Investigators say Boyd suffers from dimentia.
