Study: You can’t eat healthy if you’re eating out

Posted

A new study from the Rand Corportation says you can’t eat healthy if you’re eating out.

It says 96 percent of entrees sold at top chains exceed the daily limit for calories, sodium, fat, and saturated fat.

And on average – those tasty appetizers have more than 800 calories.

A standard entree has 675.

Now, the restaurant association is fighting back – saying they’ve added nutritional info to menus and offer healthier options.

And if you’re thinking about one of those tasty appetizers – on average, they have more than 800 calories alone.

A standard entree has around 675 calories.
