Tropical storm Alberto (or whatever is left of him) will help pump a warm and humid air mass into our region over the next few days. A second system (along with an approaching cold front) will help spark scattered showers and storms just about every afternoon through Thursday.
Alberto has started to make the turn and is now headed east at 7 mph. The storm is centered about 175 miles east of Jacksonville, FL. The forecast track continues to have Alberto stay off the coast and pass by Hatteras on Tuesday afternoon.
