Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

Video: Lighting of the torch at Town Center to kick off the Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for Special Olympics.

In Virginia Beach - more than 100 law enforcement officers from throughout Hampton Roads and Virginia are at the Virginia Beach Town Center for today's torch lighting.

Since last year, the torch run has raised more than $900,000 for Special Olympics.

That's a state record for a torch run.

From here, the torch run jumps to Bristol, where it will begin a 1,900 mile journey throughout Virginia.
