According to the Coast Guard, a boat capsized 60 yards off of Ocracoke Island tonight and four people were thrown into the water.
The occupants of the boat swam safely to shore and the local EMS arrived. One person was in and out of consciousness and was transported to the Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC.
