Chesapeake, Va. – Chesapeake police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in the 200 block of Coventry Close.
One woman was taken to a hospital a with non-life threatening gunshot wound.
According to police, Donavan Lamar Speller of the 800 block of Channel Place turned himself in around 5:00om Thursday.
Speller was wanted on charges of malicious wounding, use of firearm in the commission of a felony and brandishing a firearm. .
Police are still searching for Katie Belcher, who they say is a person of interest in this matter. Warrants have not been secured against her at this time.
