There are several new apps out that claim they can keep mosquitoes away.
Designers say it works by using an ultrasonic sound so high-pitched it's undetectable to the human ear but makes a sound that scares mosquitoes away.
According to mosquito expert Molly Keck, there's no research that would prove if the app does or does not work.
And given how mosquitoes are attracted to humans, there's no way that the app should work.
It has been downloaded by millions of people, and it has high reviews.
