We're getting a better look at the damage left in Beryl's wake in Carteret County near the southern most part of the Outer Banks.
Emergency officials now say a total of 71 homes were impacted by Wednesday’s tornado with winds up to 110 miles per hour.
Four of those homes were destroyed.
The local fire department conducted a final damage assessment of the area.
