Newport News detectives are asking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating the man shown in this photo.
Police believe this man may be able to provide important information on a homicide that occurred about 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2009 in the parking lot of Games Market at 503 Harpersville Road.
Witnesses say the victim was approached by two black males. A shot was fired, and the victim fell to the ground.
The two suspects were seen leaving the area in a black sedan.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.

Detectives are also asking anyone who may be able to identify this man to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Crime Line callers may remain totally anonymous, are never required to testify in court, and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
