If you are heading out to watch the Parade of Sail on the Bay on Friday, you might not be able to get in the water.
Virginia Beach has issued a swim advisory for a section of Chick’s Beach.
It’s the area between Ocean View Avenue and Rockbridge Road because of bacteria in the water.
The advisory will be lifted once bacteria levels get back to normal.
