Suffolk police have closed both lanes of traffic in the 2200 block of Hosier Road due to a single vehicle accident during which the vehicle struck a utility pole.
The road is currently shut down so that Dominion Virginia Power can repair the pole. City of Suffolk Public Works is on the scene for assistance.
The driver of the vehicle was taken by ground transport to Obici Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
