The Norfolk Admirals are ready to celebrate their Calder Cup Championship Wednesday.
The festivities will start with a parade at 4:30 down Granby Street.
From there, players will walk to the Norfolk Scope Plaza where there will be live music, speeches from the coaches and players and autograph signings.
The team will also unfurl the Calder Cup Championship banner on the side of Chrysler Hall.
Many of the players will also shave their beards in a charity event that will benefit St. Baldrick's, a national children's cancer organization.
Dana DeFilippo with the Admirals says many of the players didn't shave once the playoffs began.
"You don't want to change anything if you are winning, you always hear the stuff where they don't change underwear, they don't change socks," DeFilippo said. "Our guys, if they are winning, they aren't going to change anything, they won't shave their beards."
In case of rain Wednesday, the festivities will move indoors to the Scope.
