The Newport News Police Department will conduct a series of DUI patrol operations on June 15 and June 16.
From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., police office will focus on patrolling areas where motorists are more likely to drive impaired by drugs or alcohol.
The concentrated areas will not be made public prior to the operation.
