We couldn’t have asked for better Father’s Day weather, with high temperatures only in the lower 70s for most of us. However, as we head toward the first day of summer on Wednesday, it’s going to start feeling a lot more summer like.
An area of high pressure to our south will start pumping in hot and muggy air.
Temperatures will only climb a few degrees on Monday. But by the end of the week, we'll be sweltering in the lower 90s with uncomfortable humidity values.
A few storms are possible late Monday and Tuesday as a weak storm system crosses the region.
And then we move into a more summer pattern with the risk of pop-up showers and storms just about every afternoon.
