According Chesapeake city officials, the Great Bridge Bridge on Battlefield Boulevard will be closed on Thursday, June 28 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The Bridges Division of Chesapeake Public Works will close the Great Bridge Bridge to all road traffic overnight on Thursday, June 28 for maintenance work.
A detour via the Route 168 Bypass will be posted.
