Robert Bruce, Jr., a 56-year-old Beach man has been charged in a six-count indictment alleging that he aimed a laser pointer at Naval aircraft near NAS Oceana.
Bruce was arrested on June 13th for incidents that allegedly occurred on or about April 12 and June 5.
Bruce was charged with two counts of interference with flight crew, two counts of aiming a laser pointer at an aircraft, and two counts of assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees.
He faces several years in prison if convicted.
