Suspects wanted for allegedly robbing cab driver, stealing vehicle

Police are searching for two suspects who they say robbed a cab driver and stole her vehicle at 1:10 a.m. on June 23rd.

They say the cab driver picked up two men in Virginia Beach and drove them to Norfolk. When they arrived in the 300 block of Boutetourt, one of the suspects told the driver to pull the vehicle over. The suspects then put a knife to her neck and demanded money according to police.

Police say one of the suspects then told the driver to move over before kicking her out of the vehicle. The suspects then drove away in the cab.

Police later found the vehicle in the 300 block of Yarmouth Street.

Police say the victim was not hurt.

The first suspect is described as a white male who may be about 50-years-old. He is about 240 lbs and has gray, shoulder length hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue tee-shirt and khaki pants or shorts. The second suspect is described as a white male who may be between 30-40-years-old. Police do not have a description of what he was wearing at the time.
