James City County residents affected by the recent storms can take woody debris to the Jolly Pond Convenience Center for free until July 16, 2012.
Fees are not waived for construction debris and Convenience Center coupons are required. Proof of James City County residency is required. Officials ask that residents do not mix construction materials with woody debris.
The Jolly Pond Convenience Center is located at 1204 Jolly Pond Road. The Convenience Center is open seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., but will be closed on July 4.
Convenience Center Coupons are available on the County’s website, jamescitycountyva.gov/epayment and at following locations:
Treasurer’s Office (101-B Mounts Bay Rd.) or Satellite Services (3127 Forge Rd.) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Freedom Park Office (5537 Centerville Rd.) Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- James City Recreation Center (5301 Longhill Rd.) Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
Coupons are sold in books of five for $20.
