Breaking - British police have closed a major highway near Birmingham, England.

They say there's been an incident involving a passenger on a bus headed to London. Police aren't being very specific, but are calling it "a major ongoing police-led incident on the M-Six."

That's one of the busiest highways in England. The company that owns the bus says armed police have taken all of the passengers off the bus. British police are not usually armed when they respond to a scene.

There's no video of the scene yet, but reporters say emergency vehicles are lined up on the highway, and military bomb disposal units are on standby.
The incident comes at a time of heightened security in the United Kingdom as it prepares for the opening of the London Olympic Games this month.
