According to cbsnews.com, thousands of people could lose their Internet access if their computers are infected.
They say this malicious software is from 2007.
To prevent this, experts are advising users to check their computers for malware.
Experts estimate the number of infected could be more than 277, 000 worldwide. That number is actually down from 360, 000 in April.
Warnings have been sent out via Facebook and Google. ISPs have also sent notices to customers. The FBI has set up a special website so that Internet users can check their computers for the malware.
