Juvenile charged with arson in Norfolk house fire

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk Fire Marshals have arrested a juvenile in connection to the house fire in the 6300 block of Glenoak Drive on July 11.

When fire units arrived shortly after midnight they found smoke and fire coming from the house.

The occupants are currently displaced and there is extensive smoke damage throughout the structure with the majority of fire damage confined to the kitchen.

The juvenile was arrested later in the same day.

The juvenile has been charged with multiple arson, burglary and grand larceny charges.
