Lynnhaven Middle School assistant principal fights for job

An assistant principal is fighting for her job at Lynnhaven Middle School.

On Monday, a panel listened to both Kimberly Tucker's lawyer and the school's lawyer in a public hearing that could last several days.

In opening statements, the school said Tucker didn't do her job, lied and didn't show up for work for a month. That is their reason for wanting to dismiss her.

Tucker's lawyer said his client was sick, and Tucker says the principal is out to get her and was looking for reasons to fire her. She says she worked hard for special education students at Lynnhaven Middle School.

Last year, Tucker 'outed' a 'problem' teacher who she says called special needs children names and kicked them out of the classroom.
